What window furnishings actually cost
Most window furnishing companies will not put a number on a website. We will, because the alternative wastes your afternoon and ours — you sit through a consultation to find out we are not in your range, or you never call because you assumed we were not.
Every figure on this page comes from jobs we have actually completed, not from a wish list.

Across a whole job that usually comes to $1,850 – $9,100 for a single room and $6,500 – $16,000 for a whole home. Fabric, window size and motorisation move the number; the quote you sign is fixed.
The variables
Why two houses with the same window count quote differently
Price follows area, not window count. One four-metre sliding door costs more to cover than three bedroom windows, because it is more fabric, a heavier tube and often a two-person fit. This is the single biggest reason a quote lands above or below the range above.
The spread within one product is wide. A basic sunscreen and a premium Verosol metallised fabric are the same blind with the same mechanism, and can differ by two or three times on fabric alone. Choosing one good fabric for the whole house is usually cheaper than mixing.
Adds per window, not per house, so it scales with how many you motorise. It is worth it on anything high, wide, or behind furniture — and rarely worth it on a window you can reach. We will tell you which is which rather than quoting the lot.
A square reveal is quick. Curved tracks, raked windows, face-fix on tile, or a bay that needs every pane treated separately all add labour. We work this out at the measure, before you have a number, not after.
Included
What the number covers
- 01The in-home consultation. We bring the fabric library to you and leave samples behind.
- 02Measuring, twice. Once to quote, and a check measure to the millimetre against the finished surfaces before anything is ordered.
- 03Installation by our own fitters. Not a subcontractor you have never met, and not a kit left on your doorstep.
- 04Rubbish taken away. Old blinds and packaging leave with us.
- 05A fixed written quote. It does not move between signing and installation.
Not included
What would be extra
- 01Electrical work. Hard-wired motors need a licensed electrician. Battery and plug-in motors do not.
- 02Structural work. Pelmet boxes, bulkheads or reinforcing a plasterboard ceiling for a heavy track.
- 03Removing someone else’s custom fit. Standard removal is included; cutting out a built-in pelmet is not.
If any of these apply we flag them on the quote rather than discovering them on installation day.

Tell us the rooms, we will tell you the number
Tell us which rooms and we come to you with the range, measure properly, and leave you with a fixed written quote. Not nearby, or would rather skip the visit? Send through your own rough measurements — width and drop in centimetres — and we will quote by email instead.

What warranty do you offer?
We warrant our installation workmanship for 12 months from the date it is installed. The products themselves carry their manufacturer’s warranty, which runs from the tax invoice date for 12 months to 7 years depending on the system, componentry and fabric — the term that applies to your job is on the quote. All of that sits on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which nothing in our terms takes away.
